The catering business is ever evolving and getting increasingly big; several companies cater for parties and events where using metal cutlery and proper plates would be inappropriate. These events may have kids present that will be unsupervised; leaving knives lying around would be a prospective hazard and could backfire strictly. There are several risks providing individuals with disposable catering supplies, they are manufactured with plastic and are not razor-sharp.
